Overview

What is Go ACH?

Go ACH (operated by Unity FI Solutions) is a web-based platform for originating and managing ACH (Automated Clearing House) bank transfers — the U.S. network for moving money between bank accounts. It lets an originator (your business) collect payments from or send payments to clients electronically, as a single transaction or on a recurring schedule, and track the status of every transfer. It runs at login.goach.com and processes entries under the NACHA Operating Rules.

Core concepts

Key terms you will see throughout

  • Originator / ACH account — your business and the funding account (“vendor”) the money moves through, e.g. ABC Funding Main, Go ACH, or Test Account.
  • Client (receiver) — the customer whose bank account you debit or credit.
  • Debit vs. credit — a debit pulls money from the client into your account; a credit pushes money from your account to the client.
  • Transaction vs. recurrence — a transaction is a single ACH transfer; a recurrence is a rule that generates transactions on a schedule.
  • Effective date — the date the transfer is scheduled to settle.
  • Return / RCode / NOC — codes the network returns when a transfer fails (e.g. insufficient funds) or sends back corrected account info.
