Go ACH Preferences: Account-Wide Settings

Go ACH User Guide

Go ACH Preferences

Go ACH preferences control account-wide behavior — how data is shared between users, which bank-account options appear, security requirements, error alerting, recurrence end-types, and report and return-threshold rules. Each setting is a simple toggle.

Settings groups

The preference groups

  • General — show notifications on every page; share clients/transactions across users; show full return ratio to all users.
  • Bank Accounts — hide the Personal and/or Savings account options on forms.
  • Organization Security — require a whitelisted IP to connect; set organization two-factor (On / On-Prompt / On-Forced).
  • ACH Recurring Error notifications — send an email and/or create an in-app notification when a recurring payment errors.
  • ACH Recurrence End Type Options — which end-types and totals appear when building a recurrence.
  • Reports — offset the Returns Report date to match the withdrawal date.
  • Return Threshold — automatically disable any program that exceeds a return threshold.
Steps

How to update preferences

  • Click Preferences in the footer.
  • Flip each setting’s toggle to Yes/No (or the security option you want).
  • Click Update Preferences to save.

Error alerts tie into Go ACH notifications, and the return threshold supports the Go ACH reports you run for compliance. Back to the Go ACH user guide.
